Stumbling Block

     Last week, my right knee felt a little uncomfortable.In the beginning, I didn't think that it would be so serious, so I kept dancing.On last Tuesday, my right knee was a little pain.However, I still endured the pain because I really wanted to learn new dance steps.Unfortunately, my right knee suddently sent out strange noise near the end of dance class.Then I fell to the grand and my right leg couldn't move.I cried because it was painful and I was so afraid that I couldn't dance forever.Many sophomores and classmates came to me and I was sent to hospital.My friends looked after me a lot.I really appreciated them.
     Now, I am still sad because the doctor said that my right knee chondromalacia.I have to relax until my knee doesn't hurt when I do every movement.Therfore, I also can't participate my club's the end of the year performance next Thurseday.Hope me recover soon!!!I want to dance!!!!!

North District Performance

     On December 2, there was a performance and competition called "北區舞展".My friends and I went to watch it and cheered for our sophomores.There were almost forty schools contending for the prize, so the competition was held from 14:00 to 19:30.Every school 's contestants dressed up specially and kept practicing their dance steps.They really looked nervous and a little weary.
      I wached every school 's performance intently because every show was so excellent.Some school were very creative.They used distincted theme like "少林寺"."中醫診所廣告" and so on.However, many schools chose "romantic love" as theirtopic were about the couple, so the judges were not pleased.In the end, the judges danced solo and commented.Their comments were really pointed and learned by heart.
     Although our school didn't get the prize, I still proud of our sophomore!!!!!!!!!

     By the way, the song in the performance "我不會喜歡你" was remix by our sophomore Kevin Dou.

Courage

     Last Tuesday, our club had an audition to select the contestants to represent our school.At first, I thought that I just have to be a bystander.However, some sophomores encouraged us to join this activity.Actually, my friend and I were afraid because our dancing skills were not as good as the sophomores.Although we thought we couldn't do it, some sophomores still jokingly said that"You all sign up successfully!" on facebook.Therefore, we decided to try it.

     On that day, we were all really nervous because we had to dance solo in public.Then the judges would choose some contestants to conitinue the battle called "7 to smoke".Though I eliminated on the second round, it was a precious experience.In addition, watching others' battle was a visual feast.I rejoiced that I participated this awesome activity.I learned a lot and overcame fear by taking first step.I thought that I was braver than the past.

     Our club was the champion for freestyle and popping in vol.7.I hope that they will still have the same title!

Pressure

    Last Friday, my club announced that we all belonged to one of the nine families.I was the sixth family, and we would have a small performance to public.I volunteered to be the leader in my family because I really valued everything in my dance club.

     However, I am a little upset now.I have to arrange dance steps for my family members in my dance club.Also, I have to be responsible for choreographing a Russian drama in my department.I am afraid that I can't handle too many activities on the same time.

     Although it will be very busy then, I will still try my best on every activity.After all, dancing is what I enjoy in and what I want to do.

     On this Monday, there was a barbecue held by my club.
     Tell you an interesting thing on that day:several sophomore went through the river and one of them even caught a fish!

Yeah!We dance! 

A sense of belonging

     During these day in NCCU, I met many new friends who like dancing.We talked many things about our experinces in the senior high.We really hit it off because we had many same views about dancing.Also, we all had strong ambition to progress a lot.I found a sense of belonging and I recalled some memeries about dance club in my senior high school.I was so happy that I could make friends with those people who also had passion on dance.

     On October 9 th in NCCU, there was a performance for the freshman who wanted to join dance club.My friends and I liked "Big Fans" to wait in front of 四維堂.The performance started at 7 p.m.But we arrived there about 5p.m.It was just because we all loved dancing.

     Yesterday, our club had two classes for hip-hop dance.One was basic, and another was advanced that had to practice with sophomores.I sweated a lot and my roommates said that I looked as if I had fallen into a pool.Although it was fatigued, I still enjoyed in it.

Woo ! It caught my eyes !

                                   

     This Monday, my friends and I went to Howord Civil Service International House to see marvelous performance.It was held by dance club in National Taiwan University to attract fresh man to join their club.Although their purpose was simple, they focused on every detail of their performance.It included a variety of dance style, suitable spot light, and comfortable performance venue.Their performance was so touch that my one friend even cried.Though I didn't show strong expression on my face, I really moved a lot.Therefore, I started to think that maybe one day I could perform on stage like them.In addition, I wanted to improve my dance skills with members in the dance club in NCCU.

     Just yesterday and last Wednesday, dance club in NCCU had experience for different dance style.I experienced four style including hip-hop, popping, locking and jass.Every senior taught us seriously and patiently.After this experience, I'll still specialize in hip-hop.Also, I'll learn other style on my leisure time.
